Detailed Shipping Schedule Information
At Coffee Exchange, because we're small batch roasters, all our coffee is roasted to order. We make every effort to ship the coffee you order within 24 hours, but sometimes we need to roast the coffee before we ship it, so, orders placed Monday through Thursday will usually be shipped the next day, certainly by the day following that, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Orders placed on Friday MAY be shipped on Friday, IF we have the coffee roasted and manage to package and mail it in time for the standard USPS pickup (2 PM). But if you place your order on Friday and need your order shipped on Friday, regular ground, overnight or 2nd Day Priority, it would be best to call us after you’ve placed the order to let us know it's in the system and we need to get cracking if we're going to beat the clock - and the USPS driver.
Orders placed Saturday or Sunday should be shipped on Monday, again barring any unforeseen circumstances. Mondays, though, can be tough. As small batch roasters, Coffee Exchange roasts all our coffee to order. We are also blessed with a very busy café on most weekends. Consequently, it's not uncommon for us to sell most of our roasted coffee by Sunday night. Orders placed on the weekends, then, need to be roasted before they can be shipped on Monday, and there may simply not be enough time to roast all the coffee that's been ordered for Monday shipment. So, like Thursday orders that need to go out on Friday, if you order coffee over the weekend, and need it shipped Monday, please indicate that in the comments section of the shopping cart. We'll note it and be sure to get your coffee out on time if humanly possible.
